Japan Aiding Africa

In a bid to help fight hunger for African countries facing food shortages, Japan plans to give 20,000 tons of rice from its government stocks, which were imported or locally grown, as well as a small amount of other grains from the export market.
What do you think about this? Great news for all the children starving and fighting hunger daily!

We are getting AMAZON...

I have joined the Amazon.com affiliate program. What this means is that through Room 224 you can search amazon's listing for what you need to buy. Click search, buy, and upwards of 10% of the sale price will benefit a cause.

Also we can collectively review books/movies and anything else we find interesting on amazon and have them headlined on our page for people to click on.

This is just another way youth can make a difference.
stay tuned.

Where now?

Mrs. Tina Kistler asked "So now what??? Where do we go from here?? Any ideas? Anyone interested in forming our own team to plan for Pangea Day 2009?"

I think we can go bigger, better, and raise much more awareness if we start planning now. Everyone should posts/comment/give feed back on the Room 224 Blog. Drive more traffic to our blog, more people will become interested and we can increase youth philanthropy around the world.
